Allerton Steel Ltd are looking for conscientious and confident time served platers to come and join our growing team. Applicants must, at a minimum, possess the following skills:
· Understand and interpret engineering drawings
· Have a knowledge of heavy steel fabrication
· Experience with crane driving
· Maintain a safe working environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
This is a factory floor-based position, and we operate 2 shifts:
· Early shift Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:00 & Friday 06:00 – 13:00
· Backshift Monday to Thursday 14:15 – 00:15
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £19.76 per hour subject to experience/ability

Apply NowAllerton Steel Ltd are looking for Apprentice Plate Welders to join our team and get hands-on experience by learning in our training school, and on the job.
This is a 3 year apprenticeship, at the end of which a Level 3 in Plate Welding will be achieved.
Hourly rate of pay is £9.36, working 39 hours per week, which includes 1 day per week term time attending Middlesbrough College.
Essential qualifications are Math’s & English (grade 4 or above), however please share on your application form if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
