• Platers

• Allerton Steel are looking for enthusiastic and talented platers to come and join our team. Applicants must, at a minimum, possess the following skills:

  • Ability in reading and understanding technical fabrication drawings
  • Confident in using all tools and machinery associated with structural steel plate work
  • Be able to work solo or in a team
  • Maintain a safe working environment

  Immediate start available. This is a factory floor based position which offers an hourly salary; rate of pay is subject to experience/suitability and ability. 39 hours a week, and we operate two shift patterns. Allowance bonus is paid weekly along with overtime opportunities.

• Allerton Steel are looking for conscientious and confident welders to come and join our team. Applicants must, at a minimum, possess the following skills:

  • Ability in reading and understanding weld procedures
  • Pay attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work consistently
  • Maintain a safe working environment
